Well I had a long chat with the television production company yesterday about my very tenuous links to Royalty. They seemed interested and will now get a genealogist to look into whether Ormond Smith is the illegitimate son of Arthur Wellesley and French actress Hyacinthe Roland. They will let me know.
My Steward Stroll today was more of a Steward Wheel as I did around seven miles on an old Mountain Bike that I have. It was tough going, particularly as it got stuck in one of the top gears which made pedalling so difficult.
Tomorrow it will be back to strolling as I still have 14 miles to do to complete my first aim of 100 miles during lockdown two. Not sure whether I will make 150 though which was my revised target.
Was back home just in time yesterday for the delivery of a roast lunch from Janey's Village Cafe in Mill Road. No pretensions just jolly good home cooked roast and masses of it. Had a pint of beer with it and guess what I did in the afternoon - well it certainly wasn't gardening?
There's a couple of photographs above from my walk across the fields on Friday.
Lots happening in Hethersett. I am busy putting together the next Hethersett Herald which I'm looking to publish a week today. Stories I'm working on at the moment include a new Neighbourhood Watch Facebook page for the village and an Advent Calendar trail. Will post a few more details on these when I have them.
One thing I'm looking forward to doing is going out after dark next Sunday evening to capture some of the Christmas lights in the village. I'm leaving it as late as possible so that I can put as many as possible in the December Hethersett Herald. I am building up a list of roads to visit. So it's going to be quite some Steward Stroll.

I have written over 350 blogs since the first lockdown in March. You could say it's kept me out of trouble. Will certainly be continuing when lockdown is lifted a bit although the restrictions in South Norfolk could still be quite tight due to the unexpected breakout in Wymondham.
Over the next week or so I will be having a look through a host of old Hethersett Mercury magazines to pluck out some stories from the past.
