We walked from Cromer to Overstrand along the cliff top. It was very overgrown and difficult to get through some of the nettles and overgrown foliage. Ironically the first people we came across came from Hethersett!
There was a very keen wind and some dribbly rain. The walk back along the beach was much more pleasant. The tide was out and so there were large areas of sand to walk on. There were plenty of people at Cromer and social distancing didn't seem to be part of the agenda.
Every time we go to North Norfolk it seems that more of the cliffs have eroded. Cromer Golf Club seems to be getting closer and closer to the edge.
The photographs above were taken on our two day trip to North Norfolk and include Burnham Overy Staithe, Morston, Cromer and Overstrand.
Our trip meant we missed the third street food event in the car park at Rowan House. But today we did pop along to the street food plus event at Wymondham Town Football Club where we were able to have a pizza from Elsie's Pizzas of Hethersett. They are still doing pizzas from Hethersett Village Hall Car Park on Saturday evenings and everything seems to be going well. The pizzas are very light and nice and crispy.
As well as food outlets, there were a number of craft stalls and the football club bar was open. There were plenty of people there and social distancing wasn't a problem over quite a vast area of land. Queues for the food were relatively small and so everyone got served quickly. Some outlets, like the pizza and waffle wagon, were more popular than others.
The event, like many others, is organised by ClearCompany and you can also catch up with their street food in the car park at Rowan House in Hethersett on Saturdays.
Below are a few photos from the Wymondham event:
