More a lack of co-ordination. I refer to the dreadful road situation where an uncoordinated approach led to chaos.
Some bright sparks decided it was time to shut some of the A11 to re-surface and re-route traffic along the B1172 where there are temporary traffic lights resulting in a three mile queue back to get past a hole in the ground around which absolutely nobody was working.
Then had to drive to Wymondham and tried to get through the town centre only to find it shut to traffic. On the way to Norwich roadworks around a roundabout caused gridlock. It's getting towards Christmas and things are likely to get even worse. Welcome to the real world.

So far I have avoided talking about football and my thoughts on Norwich's sacking of Daniel Farke and the appointment of Dean Smith as head coach. But I was very encouraged by the 2-1 win over Southampton which has taken us off the bottom of the Premiership.
In the first half we could have been overrun by a slick, fast raiding Southampton. There seemed to be holes everywhere. In the second half it was a different story. Whatever Dean Smith said at half-time certainly worked. We were the better team and deserved the winning goal.
It was a good start but as they say one swallow doesn't make a summer.

Spent much of the morning putting together the next edition of my e-magazine Hethersett Herald. I can't remember such a newsy month in the six years plus of the publication. There is so much going on. Just making sure everything is included is proving a tough task.
One of the stories I have been working on concerns anger/disillusionment at our local MP Richard Bacon. His website urges people to write to him with any concerns they have and he will investigate. Problem is hundreds of people have contacted him and received no reply whatsoever making a mockery of his website claims.
So I have sent him a couple of questions about his support (or lack of it) of our village. Just wondering if I will receive a reply. Somehow I doubt it, but I will keep you informed of any progress.
