Things like how to log my walks, how do do podcasts, how to put videos on You Tube, how to put together slide presentations with videos and of course how to cook.
Grandson says he wants to be a chef when he grows up. So I thought it only right to do something with the pots and pans and show that I can do a little more than making a cup of tea. Crispy fish with basmati rice, onions and peppers tonight. Ok the fish stuck to the frying pan and the rice could have been cooked a bit longer but it's a step up from beans on toast and I did panna cotta for sweet with a touch of raspberry gin.
But back to something I feel more at ease with. It took just a few minutes to record a slide show with music and put it on my You Tube channel which I set up about a year ago. So I will be practising with slide shows of Norwich and Hethersett. What I would really like to do now is record my own music to go with the slides but I have absolutely no idea how to do that - mind you I said the same about podcasting and I managed to crack that. I would love to hear from anyone with experience in this area and anyone who can give me tips about how to do it.

Some good news on the Hethersett King's Head front. There were rumours going round the village that the new licensee and landlord had pulled out. I was close to contacting them to find out whether there was any truth in the rumour.
Thankfully Justin Harvey posted on Facebook that the venue will re-open on April 12th. They are still being cautious in not accepting bookings in case things go wrong again with lockdown. It will be third time lucky after two abortive attempts to re-open.

I was interested to see that the ugly but nevertheless strangely compelling former hotel on the front at Sheringham is being pulled down. It's a shame it couldn't have been renovated and restored as a hotel as it's in a wonderful setting. Photos like the ones above will soon be records of the past.
