Drivers are meant to ring the doorbell or knock the knocker and, if there is no answer, leave the parcels in the designated safe place.
But such is their hurry I suspect to meet their quota that they aren't bothering to wait to see if anyone is in but are just dumping stuff.

On Thursday evening I watched the start of a new drama on TV. It was entitled "I Am Ruth" and starred Kate Winslet and her real life daughter continually at loggerheads with each other and featured the daughter's problems with her dependency on social media. So far so good.
Unfortunately the dialogue was appalling. It mainly consisted of the pair shouting at each other. They shouted at each other so much I thought for a moment that I was watching EastEnders. The only difference was the barrage of four letter words in this drama. Perhaps the couple were expressing some of the anger they might have felt about each other in real life or then again maybe not.
It all felt as if it was unscripted which it may well have been. The Kate Winslet character just wasn't believable, giving a good impression of the Jennifer Saunders character from Ab Fab with sweetie this and darling that. "I do love you so much darling" she kept saying as another four letter battering hit home. It was all pretty awful. I gave up after about 20 minutes as I no longer cared what happened to the characters.

I'm sure the latest Royal kiss and tell documentary is pretty dreadful as well but I haven't viewed it yet. I probably will watch what Harry and Meghan have to say without much interest I add.
They seem to have a massive chip on their shoulders. Harry could have been a real force for good but has sadly fallen far far short. Meghan continually plays the race card and doesn't realise that there are many people like me who couldn't care less what colour her skin is. We just don't like her as a person. She goes on and on about media intrusion but she is an actress who in the past must have courted the media. It's strange how she fights against the media whilst her sister in law seems very much at ease with the press.
Also in the news is the conviction of the American woman who killed a young motorcyclist when she drove on the wrong side of the road. The family of the young man were celebrating the fact that the woman now has a criminal record. Am I alone in thinking a suspended prison sentence and a driving ban is rather light considering the fact that a young man lost his life?
