A bright blue sky added to the delight and it was a leisurely wander around and also some refreshments which were served to raise money for a minibus for the local school.
I hope you enjoy some of the photographs of the visit. More photographs today than words due to a lack of time.
We rounded our stay in North Norfolk off with Sunday lunch at Letheringsett King's Head which was very pleasant. I can't go through Letheringsett without thinking about a deluxe pie we bought there last year. It was prime steak (apparently) and cost £17 for a pie that struggled to serve four. One of our more expensive purchases. I might buy another one day, after I've arranged a mortgage to pay for it.
Whilst away I finished off and published the latest edition of my e-magazine Hethersett Herald. I feel I need to do more marketing on this to make it known to a wider audience in the village and further afield. I would love to know whether my blog readers (blogettes) also read the Herald. Do let me know.
I came home to find a message on Facebook looking for people to take part in a 24 hour walking marathon in aid of The Ukraine. Not sure of the details at the moment but will let you have them as soon as I receive them.
