So apologies if you were left blogless. You can always catch up on the blogs on www.peterowensteward.weebly.com where you will find the best part of 1,000 from the days I started when COVID lockdown began to bite.
The blogs started off with a more nature feel as I described our country walks in the fields around Hethersett. I was gobsmacked by the reaction with hundreds of lovely messages from readers who particularly liked the photographs.
Those days of one piece of exercise per day with only people in your bubble were certainly interesting if that's the word for it. My blogs helped to brighten some people's days and they certainly helped to keep me sane.
Yesterday was one of those days when I felt as if I was battling against the clock all day. Firstly I had to finish my Hethersett Herald e-magazine, although I'm behind schedule for getting it online. Then I had a couple of stories to put together for the local newspaper and I will write more about these when they appear.
The main event of the day was our grandson's 10th birthday. I have named him DDB - Double Digit Boy. It's been a whirlwind decade watching him grow into a fine young man who loves his family and loves his sport. We all went out to a Chinese restaurant in Watton. I'll probably get into trouble for saying that Watton isn't my favourite place in Norfolk. In fact I don't much like it at all.
I hope you will forgive me for a shorter blog today. It's been a push to fit everything in. Hopefully normal service will be resumed tomorrow.
