New articles on Kett's Rebllion, Sir John Flowerdew, the Flowerdew Family and author Richard Morgan who was born in London but was brought up in Hethersett and now lives at Saxlingham Nethergate.
I must admit that he is a new name to me but I'm afraid science fiction and fantasy are not really my cup of tea. But I will certainly give his books a try.
Today's Steward Stroll was an interesting one. We drove to Caistor-St-Edmunds again but this time found the Roman camp car park was open. So had a walk round there and then on through Dunston Woods to Dunston Church. It was something new for us and a very pleasant walk of around four miles.
Whilst I'm out I tend not to look closely at people we pass. Everyone nowadays smiles or says a quick hello. So I was rather surprised when Mrs S said "A captain and his dog" to what appeared to be a random man. It turned out to be Norwich City's captain Grant Handley. He just smiled. I guess he obviously understood the comment.
Took lots of photographs and hope you enjoy some of them. There's even one of me (something not likely to be repeated in the near future - being rather camera shy!!!).
