I put a few of the images on a website entitled Hidden Norwich which is designed for information and photos of some of the lesser known parts of Norwich.
It only took a few minutes for a response to come back stating that the artwork was a joint project between Norwich School and other local schoolchildren. They have been there for over 12 years - which just shows how observant I am as I walk that path numerous times every year and have never noticed them before.
Many of the children whose artwork was featured are now adults - some may have children of their own.
I had to smile recently when I read a post on the Secret Norwich website commenting on photographs of the Cathedral Close, the Cathedral and the Ethelbert Gate. The writer pointed out that they were obviously shots of the very well hidden gateway leading to the very secret cathedral and the little found and known cathedral close!

Travelling is one of our passions and in lockdown it's been good to look back at some of the countries we have visited. So I set out to try and remember all the places we have visited. I may have missed some out but, by my calculations, we have been to approximately 45 countries although this isn't an exact science.
But here is the list of those I can remember:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, China, Costa Rica
Czech Republic, Czechoslavakia, Denmark, Egypt, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Morocco, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, USA, Vatican City,
Vietnam.
We would dearly love to go to South America but as yet haven't made it. I also need to get my travelogies more up to date on the web site.

Yesterday for the first time since lockdown I walked less than three miles. Had to wait for the horrendous amount of rain to stop and then did a 2.9 miles circuit of the village in the short period of sunshine. Met quite a few people on the way and I think everyone is getting thoroughly fed up with this 28 day lockdown and we aren't even halfway yet.
The thing that concerns me is that the virus will act as a yo yo with the R number dropping with lockdowns but then rocketing when we all start going out more again. I would hate to think we would end up with a one month on and one month off. It would have a devastating affect on business.
This morning I'm off to get a flu jab. It will be the first one I have had but I reckoned with all the nastiness going around it would be a good idea.
