One of the highlights of my weekend is listening to this stimulating, amusing and very instructive programme which gives a wonderful insight into the couples' life and their music. It's called Agony Aunts.
Each week people like myself ask them questions. I had one question answered a few weeks ago and yesterday they answered another one. It was basically asking how they dealt with being interviewed by a journalist who showed no knowledge about them and was totally unprepared.
The question was prompted by a telephone interview I had with Toyah many years ago when I was writing a rock music column in the Eastern Evening News. She was very gracious and I can't remember what I asked her but she put up with what might have been my irrelevant questions. Nowadays it is very much easier for a reporter to be more knowledgeable thanks to so many facts about an artist being readily available on the internet.
In the days of my telephone interview it was very different. Often all you had was a press release and I'm sure at times I sounded like a real ignorant idiot.
Anyway Toyah and Robert answered my question in full and quite comprehensively. Toyah said: "Oh my goodness where do I start?" If you want to hear the question and their answer in full just follow the link below:

My questions is about 13 minutes 49 seconds into the programme.
What a miserable day it was yesterday. It should be better today and we are off to see the Bluebells in Caistor St Edmund. Hopefully I will have lots of photographs for you in tomorrow's blog.
