Ormond Howard Smith
Ormond Smith was born in 1782 and was the illegitimate son of Richard Colley, first Marquess Wellesley, Second Earl of Mornington, British Foreign Secretary and Governor General of India and Hyacinth Roland, a French actress.
He was adopted in Great Yarmouth by William Smith and Margaret Howard. He was baptised on 5th December 1782. On 12th January 1808 he married Keziah Edmonds. They had 10 children.
