My record is four. One on television, one on a laptop, one on a tablet and one on a mobile.
None of those excesses yesterday but I did watch the Lionesses disappointing display in the World Cup Final as well as Norwich's match against Millwall which was a much better result.
We sat in our son's garden in Eastbourne and watched the Red Arrows looping above us. I find it difficult still to comprehend that there should be so many differences in what should be a supremely together team. The Red Arrows may be a crack team but they are also a team with cracks.
Now today is a special family day as our eldest son is getting married. So we are all over for the wedding in Alfriston which is in East Sussex and not Derbyshire as many believe.
Today it will be time to party on Garth (think Wayne's World with that one).
Incidentally Alfriston boasts the first ever property purchased by the National Trust. That was the Alfriston Clergy House. We visited that many years ago. Will try to fit in another visit before we leave.
Alfriston is a delightful place if you are ever in the area. Our only problem is it took us the best part of an hour to do the right miles from Eastbourne. That was due to getting stuck in traffic coming from the airshow. There's few things worse than getting stuck in event traffic if you haven't been to that specific event.
I have friends that love driving. They love getting behind the wheel of a car. I would happily give up driving tomorrow if I didn't need a car. We do use buses whenever possible. If I ever got to the point where I realised I was a danger on the road like many older people already are I hope I would be sensible enough to give up driving.
