Seventeen turned up for our first meeting in just under 18 months. Mind you we were concerned when at 10 am only the helpers were there and no guests. So we had a coffee and a chat and were thinking of packing up when all the guests arrived dead on 11 a.m.
I'm not sure where the blame lies on this one. My other threequarters wrote the letter to send round to our regulars but I typed it out and neither of us noticed that we had put a starting time of 11 am instead of 10.
Nevertheless we enjoyed a music quiz with myself using a Bluetooth speaker and a quickly put together Spotify playlist to play the answers which were all names. For a bit of fun, here are the questions. Answers will appear tomorrow along with a link to the Spotify playlist if I can set one up.

The Dementia Support group will be meeting on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from September. The first Tuesday will be an informal cafe and chat with light refreshments and will run from 10 am until 11.30. The third Tuesday will be slightly more formal with talks, quizzes and films.
The group isn't just for people living with dementia and their carers but for anyone feeling a bit lonely or anyone who would just like some company over a drink and biscuits. If you are interested in joining us please just turn up at the Methodist Church Hall either on September 7th or 21st or ring my other threequarters Anne on 01603 811052.
