I'm not a great fan of Hockney's art so why do I mention it here?
Well I seem to be attracted into taking photographs of the same area of Wymondham along the banks of the River Tiffey. I also seem to feature Wymondham Abbey an awful lot as well. I just can't help myself. Perhaps it's my Hockney side coming out.
So today it's a much shorter blog than usual, but it does include some of the aforementioned photographs which were taken on Monday.
I just want to make an appeal. As I have mentioned before I help with a twice monthly cafe in Hethersett Methodist Church Hall. It's called the Forget Me Not Cafe and is organised under the auspices of the Hethersett Dementia Support Group.
But you don't have to be living with dementia to come along. Anyone who fancies a cuppa and a chat with others is more than welcome. We meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 10 am. The first meeting of the month is usually an informal chat with tea and coffee and occasional games. The third Tuesday is more structured with presentations, talks, films and a number of other things.
So if you are reading this and fancy coming along to the next cafe which will be on February 21st just pop along and say hello. I can assure you of a warm welcome. Singer-guitarist Michael Delph will be entertaining.
