So what better place to have breakfast on our final day of the holiday? Choice was limited as, at 8 am, there was only one café open. But as I say you can only eat in one anyway and providing it's adequate that is fine.
I have touched on what we ate in a later blog. I for one was sorry to say farewell again to what has almost become a second home for us. I feel a thrill just being there.
We returned home after a drive across the Pennines on the M62 and a stop off to see relatives in Yorkshire. The drive across was difficult at times thanks to high winds and driving rain that cut visibility down at a few points. Getting onto the motorway out of Liverpool was also quite difficult thanks to a build up of traffic.
The journey from Yorkshire to Norfolk was straightforward and took just over three hours. Guess what the first things we encountered in Hethersett were? Yes roadworks and traffic lights - one set on Steeple Tower and another in Mill Road. C'est La Vie.
