So travelling took up the bulk of yesterday, setting off around 9 am and getting to Beaumaris at around 3 pm with just the one stop at a service station on the M6 toll road.
If we are travelling along the M6 we always take the toll option and it cuts out so much traffic and is well worth the payment of around £8. It's a pity we don't have more of these roads. I'm not suggesting they should take the place of ordinary roads but to act as an addition or another option for those prepared to pay who want a slightly less stressful journey.
As usual our Holiday Property Bond apartment was excellent with a view from the lounge window of Snowdonia. There is plenty to do on site with a swimming pool, games room, tennis courts, snooker room and much more.
Today started with an early morning swim and then a morning of inddor games with the grandchildren followed by luch at the local golf clubhouse.
Had a lengthy walk into Beaumaris, a reasonably attractive seaside place. The ice cream was good and I hope you enjoy the photographs at the top of this page which are of the HPB property and the town.
