I've been thinking about that recently and decided to play the game. But what age should my younger self be?
Early teens is too young as by and large you still don't have to make many of your own decisions. I felt the age of 17 or 18 would be a good start or more to the point the time when I left school and went to college 90 miles from home.
I can't remember when I set off for college in Harlow whether I was just short of 17, 18 or 19. So I had a good think and I believe it would have been 18.
The world has changed considerably since then. I don't remember there being any mental health support in college, we were just expected to get on with things.
I loved every minute of my college nine months and really thrived. I loved being away from home and was too busy to get depressed or homesick.
So I would have no advice for my college year and given the chance in a parallel universe would do it all again. I just enjoyed myself and all the new experiences.
But in general I would tell myself not to get stressed, flustered or angry at inconsequential things, but above all I would say "be yourself".
It's ok not to like discos and prefer staying at home to read, it's ok to not always feel chipper, it's ok to feel insignificant in a crowd, it's ok to be an individual.
Above all I would tell my younger self "be a leader and not a follower." " Don't run with the pack" and above all be yourself.
It's taken me a long long time to learn the last of these. I am what I am - take it or leave it and I believe that my bloggettes have decided to take it and I thank you all for that.
I have a crazy idea sometimes of hiring a hall and having a meeting of blogettes' so we can all chat to each other. As I've said it's a pretty crazy idea or is it?

I have changed the way I write these blogs. Before going on our latest mega trip I wrote them on Facebook and then copied them across to my website.
When I was on holiday I wrote a rolling day to day travelogue on the notepad app on my phone ready to add to and upload when we got back home.
I like the process of writing on the mobile phone as it means I can add to the blog wherever I am and whenever something else comes into my mind, which is often.
I have also been waking up around 5 am. There seems little point in going back to sleep, so I finish off that day's blog and have found a way to post it direct from the notepad app to Facebook. Later in the day I copy it from Facebook to my website.
That done I get a cup of tea for myself and the other threequarters and then start work on coming blogs, adding subjects as they occur and subjects always occur. A more difficult choice is whether to have ordinary or peppermint tea.
For me this is a good start to the day. It gets my thought juices going (what in earth are they I hear you ask. We've heard of orange juice and even tomato juice but what is thought juice?).
With all that done I can get on with my day and regularly add bits and pieces to the blogs as ideas occur or something tickles my fancy (I just wish I knew what my fancy is and why it should be tickled).

I am currently reading a lovely book that I picked up at a charity shop. It's called "A little History of the World" by EH Gombrich. It's written for children and makes reading history fun. I must try a few chapters out on the grankiddles. I think they will like them.
