A shop in Norwich made it onto the local television news after becoming very popular selling vintage clothes. What it meant was second hand clothes. But no these were vintage clothes or pre-loved clothes. That suggests something special rather than the clothes you would find in any common or garden charity shop.
Suddenly these second hand clothes became the things to have. Who remembers the days of jumble sales when vintage and pre-loved clothes could be stuffed into a bin bag for a quid?
I never miss the chance to have a look around second hand book shops/sales. I wonder how long it will be before I'm searching for vintage or pre-loved books and can you be sure that they were pre-loved? They might have been pre-hated (in my case that would be the entire works of Jane Austin - oh heck there's a controversial comment).

There seems to be virtually nothing you can't get on a regular subscription nowadays. I have the obvious ones that include Amazon Prime and Spotify and one for a beer company and also Harry's razors and shaving cream.
Yesterday I was offered monthly deliveries of tennis balls (yes tennis balls). Apparently a regular monthly delivery always ensures that your balls have bounce (so now you know). I have obviously declined as I am used to low bouncing balls.

Being down in Eastbourne reminded me of the evening we managed to get through Gatwick Airport in under 15 minutes from getting off a plane.
We were on a flight from Madeira and thought we had left plenty of time to catch the last train of the evening to Eastbourne but our plane was delayed and touched down with very little time to spare. Thankfully we had taken all our luggage into the cabin with us so we didn't have to wait around baggage reclaim but I still didn't think it possible. Being near the front of the plane helped and we ran with our cases to passport control. Just for once the queues were light and we breezed through the electronic gates which for once actually opened in response to waving our passports around.
We still had a way to go and kept running and eventually made it onto the railway station waving our tickets as we went. Got to the train just as it was pulling in. People on board weren't happy because it had just been announced that due to engineering works the train would be going via Brighton - adding half an hour onto the journey. We were just happy to be on board and not have to sleep in the airport.
