Came home to some lovely birthday messages on Facebook, not to mention a plethora of birthday cards (can you have a plethora of them)?
Lots of people agreed with me about how bad and sad Saturday television is. Never mind very shortly, I'm a Celebrity will be starting again!
Quite a few photos today of our weekend which was mainly spent in Sheringham and on Kelling Heath.
I must say, however, that some prices are getting out of control. We ate at the Robin Hood pub in Sheringham High Street and the food was decent value and wholesome. We would have liked to have gone on the North Norfolk Railway but get the cost.
There were eight of us - six adults and two children. I reckon it would have cost the best part of £100 for day tickets and, when you take into account the fact that the line isn't very long and only goes from Sheringham to Holt, it really was too expensive.
Yesterday morning on the way back from Sheringham to Kelling we drove alongside one of the steam trains. It was rather surreal, and we felt as if we were in a jigsaw puzzle. Then we lost the train after it crossed over the main coast road above us.
There was some very good news. Taking into account Gift Aid, my marathon walk has now made well over £1,000 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and that's over double my target of £500. Thank you to everyone who has contributed. I genuinely appreciate it and I know the EAAA will do as well.
Hope you enjoy the photographs.
