I have already mentioned Janey's Village Café and the Queen's Head but understand that Café Kin at Rouen House and Park Farm Hotel are also joining in. The scheme runs every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in August. It applies up to a maximum of £10 per person and doesn't apply to alcoholic drinks.
Today I'm off to meet the staff at Dawson's Law to do a feature for the next Hethersett Herald.
Yesterday I received an e-mail from regular reader Elaine Canning urging people to re-cycle and upcycle.
Elaine paid a visit to the recycling centre at Ketteringham and said:
"The little shop is still shut unfortunately so perfectly salvageable things are going to waste."
Elaine added that she would love to see photos of things people have re-cycled or upcycled.
"I think it might encourage people to either have a go themselves or pass things on once they can see what can be done or share/swap skills," she said.
So over to you. I like Elaine's idea and would love to carry some photos of upcycling in the next Hethersett Herald. Please either post them on the All Things Hethersett Facebook page or send them to me at: [email protected].
