A couple of years ago I got stuck down single tracks in Cornwall. Today it was North Wales. For some reason my in-built Sat Nav seems to have an obsession for taking us down tiny unclassified roads.
Today we programmed in to go to a beach only about nine miles from Beaumaris. We could have gone down a main road but decided to follow sat nav and soon we had hedges on either side of the car in touching distance.
We did find an interesting cove but didn't stop as there were no facilities. So we carried on and came to a very pleasant seaside place where we were able to have breakfast at a pub/café and brave very strong winds.
I thought it would be a good idea to give the grandchildren a compact camera each and get them to take photographs of the trip, putting the best 10 (five from each of them) on Facebook and asking Hethersett people to chose their favourite.
Within a few hours of putting them online I had received over 50 votes. So today I feature some of the best of the children's photos and tomorrow will post the winner along with some of my own.
So the photo gallery today features photos from Poppy (aged five) and Elliot (aged seven). Enjoy
