But first I got very hot walking across the village to meet up with Connie Tindale. I have known Connie for a number of years and she writes a regular column in Hethersett Herald about her hedgehog guests. Over the years she has saved the lives of many hogs and I know she feels it keenly when a hog under her care doesn't make it.
The reason for my visit was for the latest of my features for the EDP newspaper and there will also be a full interview in the September Hethersett Herald. Connie is always good value with stories of her life (many of which can't be repeated in print)!
The rest of the day was spent on the North Norfolk coast and a Steward Stroll from Morston to Blakeney and back - one of our favourite walks.
The photographs were taken on that walk and also a few of Cromer where we were surprised at the relative lack of people. There were plenty around but not as many as we had expected and that was true of the drive along the coast road with relatively small amounts of traffic.
Today it will be an early start to deliver parish council newsletters and a survey regarding the proposed new pavilion on the Memorial Playing Field along Norwich Road.
Yesterday I also picked up a disc of pictures of Woodside School to feature in the next Herald. More about that later. I will also post a few samples.
