You will recognise many of them as they are similar to many featured over the past few weeks. The reason was quite simple. Stupidly I left my Sony camera in Eastbourne so am trying out a relatively new compact one.
The Green Dragon pub looked resplendent with a very colourful floral display. I hope the camera and the idiot behind it did the show justice.
When I left for our six day stay on the south coast I had £2.57 in change in my pocket. When I got home I had £2.57 in change - proof that we really are heading towards a cashless society. No longer will we be able to splash the cash. I'm not sure what the word would be for a credit card - maybe you would flash a card!
The only problem is it's so easy to flash a card, particularly now you can use contactless to pay for anything up to £45. Then the pain comes with the bill when you find out just how much the spending has mounted up without you noticing!
